Iceland Poppies require no special care and last a very long time in the vase. When cut in the field the stem ends are seared to stop the sap. If they're cut again when placing into a vase the ends will need to be seared once more. Simply hold the ends over a flame or dip into hot water for 7-seconds being careful to protect the blossoms from the heat source.
